The 2023 Beautiful Earth Red is a blend of 60% Syrah, 16% Grenache, 14% Petite Sirah, 6% Mourvèdre and 4% Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from the McPrice Myers estate site as well as Paper Street, Hibidot and Frogtown Vineyards. It leads with a luscious yet lifted bouquet of candied black fruits, eucalyptus and sweet tobacco. The palate is lush and glossy, concluding with a lavish, staining finish. This is a solid overview of the McPrice Myers style that leans squarely toward the luscious side of the ledger.
